Research Master in Applied Plant Biotechnology

Objectives

  • Train specialized staff operating with a very good knowledge of technological tools in biotechnology applied to agricultural plants and agro-food;
  • Develop ‘know-how” based on the acquisition of a wide range of implementation, knowledge, techniques and methods in the field of biochemistry, plant physiology and biotechnology combined with a consideration of realities related to applications;
  • Training of qualified candidates mastering the techniques and modern tools of research leading to the production of products that meet the diverse needs of different markets: food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics;
  • Training students to begin a thesis in a research laboratory and long-term researchers, teacher-researchers, doctors, engineers, researcher-engineers ... 

Acquired Skills

The master focuses on the integration and use of latest technologies of plants biotechnology and in vitro plants tissue culture.

Admission Conditions

Recruitment: Applications are reviewed by an admission committee. The best candidates are selected after interview

Required Level: Master 1 Plant Biology and environment – Biodiversity

Capacity: 8 – 10 students
