Objective

Understanding the role of information exchange for balanced operation of a plant. Understanding of potential applications in the fields of biotechnology, improvement and plant breeding agronomic utility.

Content

Interdependencies: Environment / genome / internal signals. Plant genomes: plastidial, mitochondrial and nuclear. Genes involved in vegetative morphogenesis (embryogenesis caulogenesis, rhizogenesis, phyllogenesis). Genes involved in plant reproduction (flowering, seeds production and their development). Phytohormones and regulatory substances involved in growth and differentiation of plants. Perception and translations of hormonal signals and abiotic (light). Bases of plant responses to their biotic environment (competition, responses to pathogens and pests, synthesis and associations). Responses to abiotic stresses (hydric, thermic and saline, etc.)
